There's a reason we've been coming here for 20 years
Sitting in the sparkling turquoise Aegean Sea, Lesvos is a warm and sunny emerald gem of Greece. It is a whole continent in miniature with spectacular beaches, high mountains and wild forests.
Due to the island's size - Greece's third largest island - there's something for everyone. Beach holidays, water sports such as snorkelling and kayaking to sunset boat trips or fishing excursions.
Lesvos has some of the most scenic views and picturesque sights out of all the Greek islands. The landscape varies from arid to verdant lush forests with blue skies and even bluer seas. It is a popular destination for nature lovers as it is a paradise for birdwatchers with lots of rare species and even pink flamingos!
There's lots of hiking and mountain biking trails to keep adventure-seeking holiday makers busy and we can help arrange tours such as wine tasting experiences and cooking classes.
Much of Lesvos food is farm to fork and you can eat local food in most of the family-run restaurants who will tell you where the produce you are eating comes from!
Here at Real Lesvos we aim to give our customers an authentic Greek island experience. In the map below you'll find an ever-increasing list of our favourite things to do and see on Lesvos!
Birds Bay is the other half of the same complex with Little Bird. The layout of its apartments are almost identical, with only minor differences in decor. It is situated on the northwestern coast of Lesvos, close to both Petra, Anaxos and Molyvos. Enjoy views over the St George’s Islets and the Byzantine Castle of Molyvos. You can pick between a 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom apartments – a perfect stay for couples, groups and families! Every apartment has a sea-view as well as an open-plan living room and fully-equipped kitchen making it a perfect Greek island retreat.
Wander through the gardens of Birds Bay to find the terraced Bird Café which offers many healthy Mediterranean dishes made exclusively from fresh local produce! Breakfast, lunch and traditional Greek meze are available at the Café throughout the day, as well as an ice-cold frappé. It turns into a bar later in the day where you can enjoy a special range of beverages including Greek wine and some of the island’s finest award-winning ouzo. This Café is open to the public, as is the Infinity-pool, both of which can cater for and host weddings, conferences, workshops, cooking classes and other special events.
