Turquoise Tarti beach, close to the opening of the Gulf of Gera, is an unmissable beach destination. With its white sand, crystal clear waters, beautiful view of the southern Aegean and great beach bars playing chilled-out beats all summer-long, what more could you want? Make a beach bar your base on Tarti as you top off a strong dose of beach fun with cocktails, food and friendly local banter served right to your sun-bed!
After a day at Tarti, get away from the beach crowds and catch the sunset at any point in the semi-closed gulf of Gera where the sea is so calm that it perfectly reflects the colors of the sky – witness this from a cafe at Perama village where beautiful old factories provide the backdrop to a view of the shoreline or have a baklava and greek coffee from the heights of Agios Isidoros!
