How to Get to Lesvos

Direct Flights UK to Lesvos

Currently Jet2 and Enter Air offer direct flights from the UK to Mytilene, (MJT), Lesvos.

Flights for 2025 are planned to run from May to October from the following UK airports:
London Stansted (Jet2) – twice a week on Wednesdays & Sundays
London Gatwick (Enter Air) - once a week on Wednesdays
Manchester (Jet2) – twice a week on Wednesdays & Sundays
Birmingham (Jet2) - once a week on Sundays

Direct Flights Netherlands to Lesvos

Currently Corenden and TUI offer flights from the Netherlands to Lesvos (May to Sep/Oct):

Amsterdam (TUI) - twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays
Amsterdam (Corendon) - twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays

Direct Flights Belgium to Lesvos

Currently Brussels Airlines and TUI offer flights from the Belgium to Lesvos (May to mid-Sep):

Brussels (Brussels Airlines) - once a week on Fridays
Brussels (TUI) - once a week on Mondays

Flights via Athens

For far more flexibility with year-round dates, airline choices, UK and European departure airports and competitive prices, we strongly recommend flying to Mytilene via Athens, where there are several domestic flights a day to Mytilene. Athens, (ATH), is a modern, calm and well-organised airport served by several airlines including but not limited to:

By Sea

There are numerous ferry companies that operate in Greece from the mainland and other Greek islands. A popular route runs daily from Athens (the port of Piraeus) to Mytilene on Lesvos and takes around 12 hours. During summer, Blue Star Ferries also connect Piraeus, Mykonos and Mesta (Chios) to Sigri in Lesvos. Please see below for further information:
