April 2026

May 2026

June 2026
The sea is warming up, there are longer days and higher temperatures in June! Everywhere is open but there's still a peaceful and laidback vibe on the island. It's a great time to enjoy the beaches and visit thee wonderful castles, especially Mytilini, Molyvos and Sigri.
July and August 2026
This is high season on Lesvos, so the busiest time of year and the hottest! However, as Lesvos has 320km of coastline it is always possible to find a peaceful spot. There's such a variety of beaches from organised stretches of sand, remote tiny islands and hidden rocky coves. There are also many festival during the summer - including the Sardine Festival, the Food Festival, International Music Festival and Ouzo Festival! It's a great time of year for boat trips, sunset swims and long evenings.
September 2026
The sea is warm and the crowds disappear, this is one of our favourite times of year on the island! The days start to shorten and the sunsets are breathtaking. It's also the month of the world famous International Women's Festival in Skala Eressos. This is a nice time of year to enjoy the island's natural hot springs too.
October 2026
This is the end of the season in Lesvos, but its still pleasantly warm. Ideal for those looking to go walking, mountain biking and visitors looking for peace and tranquility. The fascinating monasteries, churches and museums are also good to visit now.
November - March
Although this isn't tourist season visitors are still warmly welcomed to Lesvos. It's a fantastic island to visit to see the Olive Harvest, experience Christmas traditions and celebrations and enjoy mild, bright winter days (you can even get snow on the mountains in some winters!)
