When we started Real Lesvos in early 2022 our aim was to support an island that’s close to our heart and create a travel company that supported the community and its people.
For every booking made with us, we will donate to one of the following organisations:
1) Animal Welfare Society, known locally as KIVOTOS Mytilene
2) Lesvos football club, Arion Mithymna
Or another registered charity of your choice based in Lesvos or the UK (listed with Charities Trust).
Here at Real Lesvos, we aim to increase the number of local causes we support over time.
The Animal Welfare Society started in 2008 with the aim of helping animals in need in Lesvos and reducing the number of stray or abandoned animals on the island. Its members include residents of Lesvos but also individuals from all over Greece and abroad.
Arion Mithymna Football Club encourages young people on the island to improve their football while having fun and learning new skills. Football helps improve mental and physical health and provides an opportunity to meet new people and strengthen community bonds.
