There's a reason we've been coming here for 20 years
Sitting in the sparkling turquoise Aegean Sea, Lesvos is a warm and sunny emerald gem of Greece. It is a whole continent in miniature: spectacular beaches, high mountains and wild forests on Greece's third largest island.
Due to the island's size and variety, there's something for everyone: beach holidays, activity holidays, gastronomic tours, nature attractions and spectacular geography.
Here at Real Lesvos we aim to gradually make the wonder and attractions of Lesvos more easily available to the UK traveller. In the map below you'll find an ever-increasing list of our favourite things to do and see on Lesvos!
This outstanding modern villa is situated right by the sea on the beautiful Gulf of Gera, just 12km from Mytilene, the capital of Lesvos. This picturesque gulf has such a narrow opening that it has the calmness of a lake and is therefore a haven for wildlife and ideal for watersports.
This four bedroom villa is a well-equipped family home. All four bedrooms are bright and spacious and all have good sized balconies with amazing views. On the ground floor there is a large open plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. There’s a large smart tv, free wifi and a fireplace. Large patio doors to the terrace mean plenty of light and a spectacular view of the sea. There’s also a double bedroom and a toilet. A marble staircase leads up the second floor with three, large, bright bedrooms, one double and two twin rooms ( set up for families). The modern bathroom has a large hydro massage shower.
Villa Aggemari has a beautiful lawn to the front of the property, with a furnished terrace and sea views. At the back, with views of the mountains, there’s another garden with a shaded play area beneath a beautiful tree, a stone built bbq and entertaining area, and a vegetable patch. There’s ample paved gated parking and a twice weekly cleaning service.
This villa is in such an idyllic location, peaceful and quiet, on the water’s edge but near the picturesque Pigadakia hamlet and the village of Kato Tritos. You can walk to the nearest taverna (but they also do delivery!) and you’re close to several more authentic Greek villages and a low-key watersports centre. For those wanting a family villa close to the airport and bustling Mytilene port, but still a rural escape, this villa is in the perfect spot!
